lyrics

Keruac the toad, born in the womb of the River
soon he forgot that to Great Mother Water
his life he owed
He said: "This water's so good,

so fresh and its flow his so quiet,
for me I want it all"
And he started building the walls

Kerouac the toad, king of his own little swamp
swollen with sludge glance down on his kingdom
sat on a rotten throne

With a crown of reeds he sat on a throne of lilypads
"I'm Keruac the king" he said
glancing down at ramparts
But soon Kerouac waters, parted from the flow of the River
became deadly still
and turned into a filthy swamp

Kerouac the toad, king of his own little swamp
swollen with sludge glance down on his kingdom
sat on a rotten throne

Kerouac the King, plunged in the rot of his Kingdom
said: "Rather than sharing the River with others
it's better a Swamp of My Own"

Kerouac the toad, king of his own little swamp
swollen with sludge glance down on his kingdom
sat on a rotten throne
